Who is he?

Luis Fernando Cabrera is an 18-year-old senior at Northeast Early College High School in Austin. He came to the U.S. at age 11. Not only is he preparing for graduation, varsity goalie, helping his family including a young nephew, Luis Fernando also works full time.

He was detained by DPS and handed over to immigration enforcement on May 1.

How can I help?

Donate. Because Luis Fernando worked full-time as a manger at a restaurant (impressive young man!) to help with household expenses -his family is now missing that income. On top of that, legal costs are now mounting. His family has set up a GoFundMe.
